Okay so work has been sucking and I haven’t been able to focus as much as I would have liked on doing Nano. How dare they try and make me do things that aren’t Nano related. The nerve.

Anyway I just got finished updating my totals over the past few days on my spreadsheet and noticed I’m really starting to slip behind (from being ahead).

Time to remedy that situation.

I took the kids to a Carl’s Junior playland for lunch and let them run around and scream while I did my parenting best to ignore them. I think I got in around 800 or so words. Not bad for lunch hour neglect.

Don’t tell the opposite gender parenting unit with whom I share parenting duties.

Got maybe a hundred words both days.
Kids, they DADDY really suck DADDY the focus DADDY out of DADDY me.

So i wake up early on Saturday to try and get some words in. Spend most of that time doing some pc updates and rebooting so i never got into my groove. I also noticed(more like reminded) that a lack of tunes also hinders things.

It’s near the end of my writing time for the day and I’m sitting at +2,300(13,800 overall).

I am really starting to hate my job.

Back to the muse 🙂

I got in +2700 (11500 overall) words and realized I needed to slow down and start hammering down my timeline so my perpendicular storylines groove together better. I got mostly done but am also thinking of color coding the various people so I can see where things are bunched and sparse. It’s not as wide as game of thrones in the ansamble but to my novice self it sure is beginning to feel that way.
