I don’t watch a lot of TV but what I do watch I kind of enjoy.

WELL DUH! Why would you watch it if you didn’t enjoy it?

Chick flicks…I don’t enjoy them but due to obligations I find myself watching them.

Okay, point taken…still…

I think the show Limitless is a rather well done façade of a buddy cop show mixed with the nebulously dark x-files kind of conspiracy. It definitely* has its humor moments, its dark moments, and its character moments. It’s my favorite (new?) show right now.

*(It took me three iterations of this to get it close enough for spell check to give me the correct version. My sepling suck-ages.)

I think I’m going to buy the full season once it comes available.

Now let me also say I in the love family of shows I regularly watch is…

Game of Thrones, DareDevil & Jessica Jones, Big Bang Theory, Izombie, The Daily Show & (mostly) The Nightly Show, Agents of Shield (& Peggy Carter). I used to be a big South Park fan but sometime around season 8? and the birth of my daughter I kind of lost interest.

Shows that I once loved but have also moved along into the great pasture of my mind include; The first season of the new Battle Star Galactica, The Sara Conner Chronicles, Babylon 5, Heroes season 1 only, Night Court (hello 80’s), Cheers, MASH, and a few others that aren’t coming to the front of my mind at the moment.

Anyway about Limitless. If you like quirky humor and interesting multifaceted* characters then give this show a chance.

*(I have no idea what this really means but it sounds really cool.)

I’ve lost track of my total wc but I know I’m over 40k overall.

I’ve been doing more plotting ahead stuff instead of doing straight writing. Either way I have 2600 more words than I did before. Plotting wise I’m now at the 80% mark. Now I just need to find out how this is all going to end. Before today I was at 60%  of overall story plot done.

Hey its what’s on my mind 🙂

I think I need some mental unplugging time.

No that’s not true. I think I don’t need unplugging time. I think I’m going through something akin to “leaving me the frak alone.”

I think that’s it.

I want to write but I also want to be left the F-alone. I think the constant interruptions I am constantly dealing with is eating at my mental mojo.

Having some-one/thing constantly bugging you every five minutes is akin to torture. I’m not suggesting I require solitary confinement…well maybe for a bit 🙂

I’m rambling.

A nap sounds nice right about now.

It’s not going to happen.

Which now puts me at 39,200 overall.

Here they are one last time.

#1 – “Sup-Her” is about the world’s first superhero waking up with amnesia amongst the ruins of an airline crash. As fragments of her past are begin to come back to her she learns that she had gone into hiding ten years earlier. Now she must face the personal repercussion of breaking the agreement that sent her into hiding in the first place.

#2 – A dwarven barbarian is hunting down the demon that has cursed him with immortality. Time and time again he fails to destroy the vile creature as it manages to hide within the flesh of others. Now it looks as if he has stumbled upon the demon once more, but this time, he must play the part of being an ally if he is going to have any kind of chance of preventing an even greater threat to the realm.

 #3 – Joy married for love. She eloped just after dropping out of high school with the man that she intended to spend the rest of her life with. Then she got pregnant and things got serious. Her husband enlisted in the military so they would have some means of supporting themselves. Just after he left for boot camp she ended up suffering a miscarriage. Today is different. She finds herself awaking in the front seat of her car to a cold and overcast world with an empty bottle on her lap. She is seriously contemplating leaving the man that no longer resembles her husband. Over the past eight years their love had always remained strong but the man who came home six months ago after being seriously wounded is but a shadow of his former self. Today is a new day, today is the beginning of the end of everything she holds dear. As she sits there sulking she has no idea that the overcast skies are being caused by something not of this world and just how little time she has left in order to make sense of it all. She now has to make peace with herself if she is to have any chance of surviving the impending apocalypse from above.

 #4 – “Mr. Kobayashi” is focused on the survivors of a colony ship that crash landed upon what was supposed to be their idealistic new homeworld. The story picks up ten years after their arrival where they have only recently reestablished a sense of normalcy against the elements and the semi-intelligent wolf-like predators native to this world. Now their Eden is shattered once more by a massive ground quake and subsequent flooding that forces them to fight once more for their very existence. Only by putting aside their personal issues and uniting do they stand any chance of continuing as a species.

#5 – The CERN facility goes haywire and causes a new pocket universe to form over the whole of Europe. Everything within the region begins transforming into an altered state that can best survive according to the laws of this reality. Now this pocket reality, once thought stable, shows signs of exponential growth that will envelop the rest of the Earth. In an act of desperation, the United Nations sends in one final team of iron-willed, egotistical, narcissistic, operational specialists into the rift. The hope is that at least one of them will have the strength of character to save the rest of humanity before it’s too late.
