Imagine the cast of Modern Family or some other purely white family is acting out a remake of the Roots miniseries. Phil, from Modern Family, is doing his white clumsy guy antics and is making a mockery of the works. It gets so bad that the director, LeVar Burton, calls ‘cut’ and says that’s it for today people. Disgruntled he heads back to the office with all the executives producers and in the room is the likes of Terry Cruz, Wayne Brady, Denzel Washington, etc. They are all suited up and looking sharp when LeVar throws the script down on the table yelling, “I can’t do this anymore.” One of the execs then answers LeVar and says, “You do want to earn an Oscar don’t you?”

As a bonus joke, I was thinking you could have somebody like Jane Lynch also sitting in the exec room but wearing a t-shirt that reads ‘TOKEN’ on it.
