Okay so here they are after a bunch of tweaking. I just need to run these by a few more people and then I think I’ll be ready to submit them.

#1 – (REBOOTED 2016 VERSION) “Joy left the World” starts out with Joy waking in her car along the side of the road with an empty bottle in her lap. She is in such a foul mood from the fight she had with her husband the night before that she fails to notice the completely overcast skies. Ever since her high school sweetheart and now husband returned home from Afghanistan he is but a shadow of his former self. She knows war changes people which is why over the past six months they have been seeing couples counseling that specializes in PTSD issues. As she sits there sulking she has no idea how little time she has to put come to peace with it all. The overcast skies are being caused by something otherworldly that is bringing about the end of everything she holds true.

#2 – “Mr. Kobayashi” is focused on the survivors of a colony ship that crash landed upon a strange new world ten years before. Now today, after a decade of struggle against the elements and the native wolf like predator present on this planet, they finally have lives once more. Only Eden isn’t forever as a massive ground quake and subsequent flood throws their world into chaos once more. Those that survive must now put aside their personal squabbles and come together if they are going to have any hopes of continuing as a species. 

#3 – “Sup-Her” is about the world’s first, and last, super heroin waking up with amnesia amongst the ruins of an airline crash only to discover that she had gone into hiding ten years earlier. Now she must face the disastrous and personal repercussions of having been discovered again.

#4 – The CERN facility in Europe goes haywire and causes a pocket reality to come into existence around the whole continent. Those that are not instantly killed are transmorphed into fantastical creatures. What’s worse, the pocket seems to be expanding to eventually consume the entire planet. Chris, part of a team of operational specialists, is sent in to try and end the convergence of the two realities before it’s too late.

#5 – “Barbash” is the story of a dwarven barbarian who is hunting down the demon that has cursed him with immortality. Time and time again he fails to destroy the vile creature as it manages to hide within the flesh of others. Now it looks as if he has stumbled upon the demon once more but this time he must play along as ally if he has any chance of destroying an even greater threat.  Still good.
