Okay so I wrote this novel back in the fall of 2012 and then tinkered out a second draft in 2014. Anyway I’ve also been working on some pitches for some of my various works and this one has proven to be the most problematic. Why? I’ve been struggling with this over the past week and then today something finally came together in the back of my mind. I was trying to start the book too earily. I was starting out in normalsville of chapters 1 and 2 only to have the secret real plot being discovered in chapter 3.

So in order to fix this my plan is to now start the book at chapter 3 and then sprinkle back in the life before the shitstorm later on.

I think this can work. It’s going to require more effort than what I’m willing to put into it right now but at least I now have a new start to work with. Yes im doing a little mental happy dance right now.

In the mean time I’m still going to keep working on my PeeKay novel and let these changes ferment some more. I’m still mentally feeling like doo-doo today so blogging is about all I’m capable of doing.
